Dear Fellow Members,
As I sit down to right this article, we are in
the midst of exciting and wonderful things happening within our shul.
Renovations have officially begun with the walls taking on a fresh
new coat of paint & new wallpaper for our movable walls, new
michitzas and some nice additions to our Aron Kodesh being built
(hopefully in time for Pesach), new chairs & a few tables on order
(unfortunately not in time for Pesach, but hopefully soon after)
and new carpet on order (after the board passed an amendment to
the renovation budget). Although there where plenty of
disagreements on what should get done and how, I feel we really made
a big Kiddush Hashem in the way we went about the process and the
flexibility everyone showed in adjusting to issues that came up at
the last minute. Also, a big yasher koach goes out to the people
involved in making this happen. Let us continue on this momentum. (

With seeds being planted, literally and
figuratively, we have once again begun our effort to continue on our
landscaping improvements. With plans to make the backyard a safe
playable area for our children, the sisterhood taking on a campaign
to beautify the front and are in the process of reseeding the front
lawn.
We have also begun to form our dinner committee
with Mr. & Mrs. Calderon co-chairing the committee. We would like to
start planning this event beginning right after Pesach. We hope to
make this year's dinner something special. Of course, as always,
whoever would like to get involved with these or other exciting
things going on please step forward.
There are many other exciting things in the
pipeline and I hope to be able to report on these in our next
newsletter.
Wishing you and your family a Chag kosher
v'samayach.
